Modifying political boundary - Ferozguda

i was modifying the political boundary of Ferozguda today morning. It seems to be incomplete. So ading details like Hindi names, फिरोज़गुडा etc. 

तीन दिनों का सफ़र! - 21 February 2012

तीन दिनों का सफ़र!  एक एसा सफ़र जो सिर्फ मोटरबाइक पर था, मेरी जानेमन के साथ. यह शुरू हुआ तब, जब हमने एक हफ्ते पहले से ही ये सोच लिया था कि एक गाडी किराये से लेकर द्वीप में घूमने जाएँगे. कार के लिए कोशिश किया लेकिन एक लम्बे वीकेंड के कारण लोगों ने दो हफ्ते पहले ही कार सब बुक कर लिया था.


अंततः फ्लिक औं फ्लाक (Flic en Flac) के पुराने स्कूटर रेंटल ऑफिस में ही बुलाया और शुक्रवार को ही ऑफिस के बाद जाकर वहाँ से एक स्कूटर किराए से ले लिया. वापिस कई महीनों के बाद चलाने में काफी मजा आ रह था. प्रार्थना करने के बाद हमलोग Ebene के Intermart शौपिंग सेन्टर जाकर कुछ घर के उपयोगी चीजों को लिया और घर वापिस आ गए.

उस दिन ही ये सोच के रखा था कि कहाँ जाएँगे. कुचिपुची ने ग्रि-ग्रि बीच नहीं देखा था. वहाँ एक बार जाना था. फिर ब्लू-बे और इल-औ-सर्फ जैसे खूबसूरत समुद्र तटों पर भी जाने की योजना हमने बनाई थी. मैने भी वह सब नहीं देखा था. इसीलिए यह एक अच्छा अवसर था जब हम दोनों एक साथ प्रकृति की खूबसूरती को देखें. सुबह सुबह हम निकल गए। गर्मी काफी थी।

हम लोगों ने सोचा की हम गंगा तलाव होते हुए ऊपर पहाड़ियों की तरफ चलते ही जायेंगे। बोहुत ही अच्छा सफर था। एक पूरा दिन हमने घाटियों के बीच से घूमते हुए अपना सफर तय किया। बहुत ही खूबसूरत नजारा था।

तीसरा दिन पूरा Grand Baie और उत्तरी जमीन पर सफर किया। वहां का हरा हरा समुद्र काफी मनोहर था। लाइट हाउस भी देखा। लेकिन लाइट हाउस बंद होने के कारण हम लोग अंदर नहीं जा पाये। फिर भी एक सुहावना सफर था।

गर्मी ज्यादा थी। इस बात का हमें अंदाज़ा तब हुआ जब थोड़ी देर में हमारी हाथेँ और चेहरे पे झुलसने जैसी गर्मी पैदा हुई। शाम को स्कूटर लौटाकर जब हम वापिस आये तो देखा कि गर्मी से हमारे हाथों और चेहरे पे सन बर्न हैं। पहली बार ऐसा हुआ हमारे साथ। जबकि भारत में इससे ज्यादा गर्मी पड़ती है लेकिन कभी ऐसा नहीं हुआ था। बहरहाल, जो हुआ अच्छे के लिए हुआ। एक दो हफ्ते में ही सब ठीक हो गया था। Lacto Calamine lotion भी लगातार त्वचा पर लगाते गए।

फिर भी अपनी जानेमन के साथ बिताया समय बहुत ही मनोरम था। उसी बात की ख़ुशी है और कुछ नहीं। 

सड़कें चलती ही जाती हैं, चट्टानों के ऊपर और पेड़ों के ऊपर से, उन गुफाओं से जहाँ कभी भी सूरज की किरण पहुँची ना हो, ऐसी धाराएं जो कभी समुद्र में जाकर मिली ना हों. बादलों और नक्षत्रों के नीचे. JRR Tolkien के द्वारा बहुत खूबसूरती से लिखा हुआ एक लेख था.

दुनिया भर में अनगिनत सुंदर सड़कें हैं लेकिन सच में एक पागलपन  करने के लिए खतरे की एक संकेत किया गया है, और यह सुंदरहो गया है सबसे बड़ा ड्राइविंग सड़कों के लिए एक चुनौतीपूर्ण और जटिल झुकता के बीच एक सही मिश्रण है की आवश्यकता होती है, रोमांचक नहींसिर्फ लंबे तेज straights के साथ, कोई यातायात नहीं है और विशेष रूप से सुंदर विचारों के लिए कम है. और सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अपने प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य प्रकृति एक यादगार यात्रा सड़क लेकिन कभी कभी यह मानव निर्मित स्थलों की यात्रा है.

Home coming

It's been a while since I had come back from Mauritius.

It was July 23, 2012, when we came back from Mauritius to India. I knew that the freedom that we enjoyed there would no longer be there once we are back. But my wife has different ideas. For her, coming back was having a lot of happiness. Indian food, close to parents, lot more savings, living in faster lifestyle, more salary, better treatment of sickness, etc.

It's been 2 - 1/2 years now and we know that coming back was not a gain. It was infact a loss in many ways. We lost :

• Clean processed drinking water - 24 hrs through tap.
• Greenery (amount of green cover was refreshing to the eyes).
• Less vehicular pollution levels. mostly clean air in residences.
• Less suspended particulates causing respiratory diseases.
• great lettuces which prompted us to have sandwiches and salads from time-to-time.
• Great Dholpuris and rotis available in all major streets.
• Great beaches and scenic valleys and mountains, which we often used to travel on weekends or holidays.
• great living in a fully furnished housing with all responsibility of handling it well as a young couple.
• Great Church, that we used to visit every Sunday mornings.
• Great youth group comprised of little to bit older people, their outings and meetings near the beach.
• Tax free foreign currency account.
• Free healthcare services even for the expatriates.
• Shopping in all possible international shopping markets and malls ranging from Spar, Cyber-city, Shop-rite, Pick n Pay, etc. Great range of international food, home, electronics and travel items.
• International travel atleast once in an year with goodies for our relatives and friends. Exposure to International chocolates and wines.

Now, inspite of all the troubles, we are still living in this place in India. I have had 2 bronchitis, spondylitis, acidities, indigestions, cough and sore throat most of the times. Sometimes we have thought how to move back! Also remember the times that we spent.

Meanwhile friends from Mauritius still call us back and expect us to be back there anytime in future. Its a good hope. But lets see what God has in mind.
